To manage your DNS through cPanel, your domain must use the NairoHost nameservers. Setting these at your domain registrar tells the internet that NairoHost holds your domain's DNS zone.
The NairoHost Nameservers
| Nameserver | Value | | ---------- | ----- | | Primary | ns1.nairohost.site | | Secondary | ns2.nairohost.site |
Update Nameservers at Your Registrar
- Log in to the account where your domain is registered.
- Find the domain management or DNS settings area.
- Locate the Nameservers option and choose to set custom nameservers.
- Replace the existing entries with ns1.nairohost.site and ns2.nairohost.site.
- Save the changes.
If your domain is registered through NairoHost, this is often already set for you.
After the Change
- Nameserver updates can take up to 24 to 48 hours to propagate fully.
- Once active, manage all records in the cPanel Zone Editor.
- Confirm the change has taken effect with a quick lookup:
dig yourdomain.com NS +short
The output should list both NairoHost nameservers. Until that happens, the domain may still resolve through its old DNS provider.
