Webmail lets you check your domain email from any device with a browser, without configuring a mail client. cPanel hosting includes Roundcube and Horde as webmail options.
Logging In
- Go to yourdomain.com/webmail in your browser.
- Enter your full email address (you@yourdomain.com) as the username.
- Enter your mailbox password.
- Click Log in and select an interface if prompted.
You can also reach webmail from inside cPanel by opening Email Accounts and clicking Check Email next to the account.
Roundcube vs Horde
- Roundcube is clean, fast, and best for everyday email. It is the most popular choice for most users.
- Horde offers a fuller groupware suite including calendar, contacts, tasks, and notes.
To make one the default and skip the chooser screen, open the webmail settings and set your preferred application as the default.
Common Issues
- If the login page does not load, confirm your domain DNS is pointed correctly and that the site is live.
- A wrong password error usually means the full email address was not used as the username.
- Clear your browser cache if the interface looks broken after a server update.
