You can cancel any hosting plan or recurring subscription from your client area. Cancelling stops future renewal invoices, but you should back up your data first because hosting cancellation removes website and email content.
Request a Cancellation
- Log in at my.nairohost.site.
- Open Services > My Services and select the service.
- Click Request Cancellation.
- Choose the cancellation type and confirm.
Immediate vs End of Billing Cycle
- End of billing cycle: The service stays active until the current paid period ends, then it is not renewed. This is best if you have already paid for the month or year.
- Immediate: The service is terminated right away. Use this only when you no longer need any time you have paid for.
Before You Cancel
- Back up everything: download website files, databases, and email, since data is removed after termination.
- Move your domain if it is registered through NairoHost and you want to keep it elsewhere.
- Cancel auto-renew is not needed separately; cancellation stops future billing.
A cancellation request stops new invoices, but any existing unpaid invoice should be addressed, either by paying it or asking for it to be voided.
