How to Enable Auto-Renew for Your Services

Turn on auto-renew so renewal invoices are generated and charged automatically, preventing accidental expiry of hosting and domains.

Auto-renew removes the risk of forgetting a due date by generating and attempting payment on renewal invoices automatically. It is available for hosting plans, domains, and add-on services.

Enable Auto-Renew

  1. Log in to my.nairohost.site and open Services > My Services.
  2. Select the service you want to keep active.
  3. Find the Auto-Renew toggle in the service details panel and switch it on.
  4. Repeat for each service, or set it per domain under Domains > My Domains.

How Charging Works

Auto-renew uses the payment method you have on file:

  • Card on file: the saved Visa or Mastercard is charged automatically on the due date.
  • M-Pesa: an invoice is generated and you receive an STK push or reminder to pay, since mobile money requires PIN confirmation.

For fully hands-off renewal, store a card under Billing > Payment Methods. With M-Pesa you still confirm each payment manually, but the invoice is prepared in advance.

Confirm It Is Working

After enabling, check that the service status reads Auto-Renew: On. You will still receive renewal notices by email so you can review the charge. To stop automatic billing, toggle auto-renew off before the next due date; any invoice already generated stays payable until you cancel it explicitly.
