Microsoft Outlook lets you manage your domain email alongside other accounts on your desktop. Use IMAP so messages stay synced across all your devices.
Add the Account
- Open Outlook and go to File > Add Account.
- Enter your full email address and choose Advanced setup or Let me set up my account manually.
- Select IMAP as the account type.
- Enter the incoming and outgoing server details below.
- Enter your full email address and password when prompted, then finish.
Server Settings
| Setting | Value | | --------------- | ------------------- | | Incoming (IMAP) | mail.yourdomain.com | | IMAP port | 993 | | Encryption | SSL/TLS | | Outgoing (SMTP) | mail.yourdomain.com | | SMTP port | 465 | | Encryption | SSL/TLS | | Username | full email address |
Important Notes
- The outgoing (SMTP) server requires authentication. Enable My outgoing server requires authentication and use the same username and password as incoming.
- Always use your full email address as the username, not just the part before the @.
- If you prefer to keep mail only on one computer, you can use POP3 instead, but IMAP is recommended for multi-device use.
