You can manage your domain email (you@yourdomain.com) directly inside Gmail, keeping the familiar interface while sending from your professional address.

Add Your Domain Email to Gmail

  1. In Gmail, click the gear icon > See all settings.
  2. Open the Accounts and Import tab.
  3. Under Check mail from other accounts, click Add a mail account.
  4. Enter your full domain email address and click Next.
  5. Choose to link with IMAP and enter the incoming settings below.

Server Settings

| Setting | Value | | --------------- | ------------------- | | Incoming (IMAP) | mail.yourdomain.com | | IMAP port | 993 (SSL) | | Outgoing (SMTP) | mail.yourdomain.com | | SMTP port | 465 (SSL) | | Username | full email address |

Send From Your Domain Address

To send as your domain address (not your Gmail address):

  1. In Accounts and Import, find Send mail as and click Add another email address.
  2. Enter your name and domain email address.
  3. Enter the SMTP server, port 465, and your password.
  4. Verify with the confirmation code Gmail sends.

Tips

  • Set your domain address as the default in Send mail as so replies come from the right address.
  • Use your full email address as the username for both incoming and outgoing.
